In a major development, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday resigned after days of nationwide protests over the NEET paper leak. Prime Minister Narendra Modi accepted his resignation.
Announcing his decision in a social media post, Pradhan said he had submitted his resignation to the Prime Minister to prevent “anti-national forces” from exploiting the situation and spreading confusion across the country.
