Israel’s interests not addressed in US-Iran peace deal: Ambassador Reuven Azar


In an exclusive interview with India Today, Israel’s Ambassador to India Reuven Azar shares his thoughts on the 14-point MoU signed between the US and Iran, Middle East tensions, the Lebanon border crisis and more.

On the US-Iran peace deal, he said that Israel’s interests have not been addressed in the deal. When asked if Israel’s interests have been compromised when it comes to Iran having ballistic missiles, Reuven Azar, said, “At this point, yes.”

He further said, “Israel and the United States have had an amazing military victory because we have managed to remove the existential threats on our country and the damage to Iran, not only that their leadership, their criminal leadership was removed, but also the damage to Iran in military terms is worth more than a trillion dollars.”
