Iran’s Intelligence Ministry announced the arrest of 30 individuals accused of spying and collaborating with the United States and Israel, according to a statement carried by the semi-official Tasnim news agency.
The ministry said the arrests were made in recent days following what it described as an intelligence operation targeting networks suspected of providing sensitive information to foreign governments.
According to the statement, one of those detained is a foreign national who allegedly transmitted sensitive security-related information to two governments in the Persian Gulf region. Iranian authorities claim that the information was subsequently passed on to the United States and Israel.

The ministry further stated that 19 of the detainees were identified as “field and media operatives” connected to anti-government groups. Authorities claim these individuals maintained contact with Israeli-linked networks and were engaged in activities aimed at undermining the Iranian state.

Iran has frequently accused the United States and Israel of conducting intelligence and cyber operations against the Islamic Republic, particularly in connection with its nuclear program and regional security issues.
There has been no immediate response from US or Israeli officials regarding the allegations. The Iranian government did not provide further details about the charges, possible trial proceedings or the locations where the arrests were made.
