The attack on Kishore Gujarati by unidentified gunmen has sparked speculation about possible gang links.

An Indian-origin businessman was shot and injured in Portugal’s Odivelas area, prompting local authorities to launch an investigation into the incident. While the motive behind the attack remains unclear, unverified claims circulating on social media have fuelled speculation about possible gang involvement.
The victim has been identified as Kishore Gujarati. The shooting took place in Cidade Nova, Odivelas, and reports of the incident have since gone viral across social media platforms.
Soon after the attack, a Facebook account under the name “Rahul RK Meena” claimed responsibility for the shooting and issued fresh threats. News18 has not independently verified the authenticity of the account or the claims made in the post.
“Greetings to all my brothers. I, Rahul RK Meena, take full responsibility for the shooting of Kishore Gujarati today near Cidade Nova Odivelas in Portugal. Ignoring our messages is tantamount to inviting death,” the post read.

The post went on to threaten additional attacks, warning those who had allegedly been contacted by the account.
“To everyone we have called: be prepared-bullets could be pumped into your bodies at any moment. We will strike the moment we get the chance,” it said.
“I will settle scores with everyone. Our reach and influence span the entire globe. Just wait for the right time-our next encounter will be far more brutal than this!”, the post added.
The same post also mentioned the names of several alleged criminal groups, including the Sunil Meena Gang and Aman Sahu Gang.
Although the social media post has led to widespread online speculation about the emergence of a “new gangster,” Portuguese authorities have not confirmed any link between the shooting and organised crime.
Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the attack, and no official verification has been made regarding the claimed responsibility or the alleged gang connections.
