Shubman Gill will lead India’s innings today along with Yashasvi Jaiswal.
The play of the second day of Delhi Test between India and West Indies will start at 9.30 am today. Team India will start playing with a score of 318/2 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Yashasvi Jaiswal will continue his innings with a score of 173 and captain Shubman Gill will score 20 runs.
India dominated from the first session Team India started gaining control in the match after winning the toss in the Delhi Test. The team chose to bat on the batting friendly pitch of Arun Jaitley Stadium and started pushing West Indies on the backfoot.
In the first session, the team lost only 1 wicket and scored 94 runs. KL Rahul was out after scoring 38 runs. After him, Yashasvi Jaiswal took over the innings with Sai Sudarshan. Both of them took the team beyond 200.
Sudarshan missed scoring a century India did not lose any wicket in the second session. Yashasvi scored his 7th Test century, while Sudarshan scored his second fifty. In the third session, Sudarshan was out after scoring 87 runs. He made a partnership of 193 runs with Yashasvi for the second wicket.
