Impact Features: ICICI Prudential Hybrid Active FOF, same strategy, better stability; Adding debt exposure brought more balance – Dr. Rai

ICICI Prudential Thematic Advantage Fund (FOF) has been reclassified as an ‘Aggressive Hybrid Active FOF’ with effect from April 2026, as per the new framework of SEBI. Although its structure is changing, its core strategy will remain the same – that is, maintain a strong focus on sector and thematic opportunities and adopt an aggressive approach to equities.

The purpose of adding debt exposure is to provide greater stability and better handle market fluctuations without compromising growth prospects.

This new change provides greater flexibility to the fund, allowing it to take advantage of opportunities across themes, sectors and market caps, while also improving the overall experience for investors.
