As discussions on climate change and sustainable development are coming to the Center, Beetle Regen Solutions are presenting a regional farming model that is ready for the future and is based on science.
Established in 2023 by Sustainable Development Specialists Amol Mishra and Hemant Rajput, the Beetle Regen Solutions is dedicated to making regional, trasable and carbon-neutral supply chains in textiles, apparel and agricultural fields.
Beetle Regen, standing with its farmer-first approach, ensures that sustainable development becomes a profitable and self-sufficient opportunity for farmers rather than just one ideal.
The company has so far empowered about 70,000 farmers in more than 1,00,000 hectares of area. This organization is giving a new look to the future of supplied chains through making models of production, which can be applied extensively, durable, and from increasing per capita yield to solution of carbon dioxide removal.
Through a strategic partnership with the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) and Cotton Development Research Association (CDRA), Beetle Regen has increased its impact at the ground level by expanding farmers’ training programs in major cotton production areas, especially in major cotton production areas.
The objective of these initiatives is to promote such regional farming techniques that improve soil health, improve crop production and increase the income of farmers.
One of the major techniques adopted is high-density planting system (HDPS), which makes more efficient use of land and resources possible, as well as reduces pollution and increases total production from climate-resilient manr.
One of the main strategies of Beetle is the use of biochar, it is a proven way of carbon dioxide removal, which not only improves soil health, but also plays an important role in carbon for prolonged (carbon sequestration).
For example, it can capture about 23–25% emissions associated with the production of simple cotton T-shirts. By including such influential innovations in traditional farming systems, the Beetle Regen is deciding the new myna of sustainable farming in the 21st century.
A glimpse of biochar: How do we convert West into wealth! Amol Mishra, co-founder and CEO of Beetle, says, “Our mission in Beetle is to spread regional farming on a large scale and make it financially profitable, as well as to create circular systems that cooperate both environment and farmer community.”
When green washing, endangered the credibility of stories of sustainable development, Beetle Regen has so far made more than 800 tonnes of biochar.
For this, the residues of more than 2,300 tonnes of cotton crop were used, causing the ability to accumulate carbon from about 3,28,000 to 4,03,000 tonnes of COU every year.
Beetle Regain’s innovative in setting models enabled the global fashion and textile brands to take meaningful climate action, conforming to the SBTI guidelines within their supply chains.
This model is setting a new standard for climate-neutral textile sourcing by reducing the emissions on the farm, reducing the emissions on the farm, by converting agricultural waste into carbon, by changing the emissions on the farm.
In addition, with every certified carbon credit, the company is moving towards the future where the protection of the environment and the prosperity of the farmers is not just compatible, but inseparable from each other.
