The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday has forecast very heavy rainfall over Uttarakhand till Tuesday and in Himachal Pradesh till Wednesday.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over Tamil Nadu till July 22, and in Telangana till July 24. It has also been forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall in Kerala, Mahe, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka till July 26.
The weather department also predicted heavy rainfall in West Uttar Pradesh and Haryana till tomorrow, and in Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir till July 24. IMD has forecast heavy rainfall in several regions, including East Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan, till 26 July. It said that very heavy rainfall is likely over Nagaland and Tripura till tomorrow, in Arunachal Pradesh till Tuesday and in Assam and Meghalaya till 26 July.
IMD said that strong surface winds with speeds between 40 to 50 kilometres per hour are very likely over South Peninsular India during the next 5 days. Moderate rainfall has also been predicted for Delhi-NCR during the next 24 hours.

Currently, Delhi’s weather is mostly cloudy with a low of 28°C and a chance of precipitation at 10%. The IMD has also issued a yellow alert for Delhi, predicting thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds.
