Despite their lowly standing following yet another defeat, Spurs boss Igor Tudor expressed belief that the London club could survive the English top-flight.

Tottenham remain just a single point above the relegation zone following their 1-3 defeat at home to Crystal Palace on Friday, dealing a further blow to Igor Tudor’s task of course-correcting Spurs. Sarr’s double, flanking Jorgen Strad Larsen’s strike, secured a 3-1 victory for Palace over the 10-man Spurs after Micky Van de Ven was sent off in the first half.
The win took Palace’s season’s tally to 38 points from 29 games, placing them 13th in the league. Spurs, meanwhile, are struggling in 16th place in the English top-flight with only 29 points from the same number of games.

“I saw some good energy, some more passion. The fight was there,” he said.
“There are nine games to play. (Cristian) Romero is coming back, (Kevin) Danso was good, maybe others will come back. We will be good when we are complete.”
Tudor also stated that being given the sack wasn’t on his mid and assured fans that the difficult moment the loyalists have had to endure is just that–a moment– which will eventually pass.
“I don’t think in that direction. I have my job to do. Still nine games to play,” he said.
“The message I said to the players is not public. I know it is not easy. It is a moment but it will pass.”
The match started positively for Spurs with Dominic Solanke scoring in the 34th minute, but their joy quickly turned to despair as Micky received a red card moments later.
Sarr made no mistake from the penalty spot to equalise before Larsen put Palace ahead in the first minute of first-half stoppage time.
The situation worsened for Tottenham when Sarr scored again in the seventh minute of added time, concluding an eventful first half.
In the second half, Palace maintained their lead to close out the game in positive fashion o give head coach Oliver Glasner, who confirmed his exit from the London club at the end of the season some recent joy.
