IFFI में अनुपम खेर की मास्टरक्लास रही खास: फिल्म फेस्टिवल में एक्टर बोले- जिंदगी में हार मानना विकल्प नहीं

The 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) has started in Goa from Thursday. More than 240 films from 81 countries are being shown in this nine-day mega event. During the film festival on Sunday, actor Anupam Kher captivated hundreds of people with his talks in his masterclass ‘Giving up is not a choice’.

At the beginning of the session, Anupam Kher narrated the story of his film Saaransh. He told that the lead role of the film was snatched away from him just a few days before the shooting started. He was devastated by this decision and decided to leave Mumbai. He told that before leaving, he went to meet the film’s director Mahesh Bhatt for the last time.

Anupam said that when Bhatt saw his reaction, he changed his decision and gave the role back. This film proved to be the turning point of his career. Anupam said that Saransh taught me to never give up. The beginning of defeat is the first step to success.

He further said that all my motivational speeches are based on experiences from my own life.

During the session, Anupam Kher gave many examples from his life. He told that he lived with 14 people in a small house. His grandfather was a very happy person. He taught that happiness does not come from big things, but from small things.

Anupam Kher shared a memory from his childhood. His father was a clerk in the Forest Department. Once he saw the marksheet, he came to know that Anupam was ranked 58th out of 60 in the class.

Anupam told, “Papa did not get angry. He said that the child who always comes first has the pressure of maintaining his results, but the one who is at number 58 has a lot of room for improvement. Next time, get number 48.

Be the hero of your own biopic: Anupam Kher During the session, Anupam Kher explained that personality does not mean that you should be like others, but be happy with yourself. He told people to believe in themselves and become the lead character of their life story.

Anupam asked, “Why should life be easy? Difficulties are what make your biopic a superhit.”

At the end of the session, Anupam said that ‘Giving up is not a choice’ is not just a line, but a truth full of hard work.

He said, “If you want something, you have to work hard, sacrifice and convince yourself. There will be disappointments, but if you give up, the story ends there.”
