A case of a fake doctor running a hospital has come to light in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Here the Chief District Health Officer has sealed the second hospital of a fake doctor. This action has been taken in Moraiya of Sanand. Here a fake doctor was running a hospital in the name of Moraiya General Hospital. This hospital was being run by fake doctor Mehul Chavda.
Ahmedabad’s CDHO Dr. Shailesh Parmar had sealed fake doctor Mehul Chavda’s Ananya Multi Specialty Hospital in Kerala village of Bavla taluka two days ago. After this, CDHO Dr. Shailesh Parmar found an advertisement copy in the name of Moraiya General Hospital located in Sanand.
The mobile number written for contacting Moraiya General Hospital was the same number written on the file and visiting card of Ananya Multi Specialty Hospital. After this, the reality of Moraiya General Hospital came to light. The matter was immediately investigated.
CDHO Dr Shailesh Parmar said that Ananya Multi Specialty Hospital in Kerala village of Bavla taluka and Moraiya General Hospital in Sanand have been sealed. Both the hospitals were being run by fake doctor Mehul Chavda. Despite not being a doctor, Mehul Chavda kept playing with the lives of patients in the name of treating them.
CDHO Dr Shailesh Parmar said that when we reached Moraiya General Hospital in Sanand, all the instruments had already been removed from the hospital. All the biowaste was kept outside. It is possible that after sealing Ananya Multi Specialty Hospital, Mehul Chavda became alert and already closed Moraiya General Hospital and removed all the material.
An advertisement board of the sealed Moraiya General Hospital in Sanand has come to light, on which it is written that treatment, operation, emergency service along with ICU are available. In such a situation, what kind of treatment the fake Mehul Chavda would be doing is a big question.
Fake doctor Mehul Chavda is absconding. CDHO Dr Shailesh Parmar said that an FIR has been lodged against Mehul Chavda. The police has been informed. Investigation is being done to find out in whose name Moraiya General Hospital is registered. Ananya Multi Specialty Hospital was registered in the name of a doctor named Manisha Almeria. A letter is being written to the Medical Council to cancel the registration of Dr Manisha Almeria.
