The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is likely to declare the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) exam results 2026 by the end of April. According to media reports, the results are expected to be released in the last week of April or the first week of May.
Once released, the Classes 10 and 12 results for 2025 will be available on the official websites: cisce.org and results.cisce.org. Students will need their login credentials such as Unique ID and index number to access their scorecards online.
ICSE, ISC Results 2026 Date: Steps to Check
Step 1: Go to CISCE’s official results portal: cisce.org.
Step 2: Enter the Course Code, Candidate UID, Index number, and Captcha as shown on the screen.
Step 3: Click on the ‘Show Result’ button to view the CISCE board ICSE/ ISC results 2026.
Step 4: Alternatively, choose the ‘Print Result’ option to obtain a printed copy of the online ISC or ICSE result.
Last Year’s Result Date
Last year, the results were announced on May 1, 2025. Of the 99,551 students who took the ISC (Class 12) examinations, 98,578 passed, leading to an impressive overall pass percentage of 99.02%. Girls once again outperformed boys, with a pass rate of 99.45% compared to 98.64% for boys. A similar pattern was observed in the ICSE (Class 10) results, where 99.37% of girls passed, surpassing the boys’ pass percentage of 98.84%. Yet again, girls have emerged as the top performers in both board examinations.
Passing Marks
To pass the ICSE and ISC exams, candidates must secure at least 33 per cent overall as well as in each subject. This ICSE and ISC re-evaluation facility is provided to students in addition to the standard recheck of answer scripts after the results are declared. The Statement of Marks / Pass Certificate issued to candidates who apply for Recheck / Re-evaluation will be treated as final. Students who do not obtain the minimum passing marks will have the opportunity to appear in the CISCE improvement examinations for up to two subjects.
