The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is likely to release the IBPS PO prelims result 2025 soon on its official website, ibps.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam on August 23 and 24, 2025, can check their results using their registration number or roll number along with their date of birth or password.
To check the result, candidates need to visit ibps.in and click on the link for the IBPS PO/MT preliminary exam result. A login page will appear, where candidates must enter their registration number or roll number and their date of birth or password. After logging in, the result will be displayed on the screen. Candidates should download and save a copy for future reference.
The IBPS PO prelims score is calculated according to the official marking scheme. Candidates earn one mark for every correct answer, while 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect response. The total score is determined based on the number of correct and wrong answers, ensuring a fair evaluation of candidates’ performance.
The IBPS PO 2025 exam is conducted to recruit probationary officers in several public sector banks across India. The participating banks include Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Punjab & Sind Bank, UCO Bank, Union Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, and Punjab National Bank.
Candidates who qualify in the IBPS PO Prelims 2025 will be eligible to appear for the mains examination, scheduled to be held on October 12, 2025.
