A new ‘game’ has started 3 days before the first phase of voting in West Bengal. The office of ‘I-Pack’, the firm which is handling the election campaign of Trinamool Congress and CM Mamata Banerjee, is closed for two days in Bidhannagar, Kolkata. According to sources, its HR has sent letters to 1300 employees asking them not to come to work.

In fact, IPAC is playing an important role in deciding everything from Trinamool’s booth level activities to leaders’ meetings and rallies. This survey was also the basis behind the decision to cancel the tickets of about 33% of the party’s current MLAs in Bengal. It had prepared one lakh shadow agents for 93 thousand polling booths of Bengal.

Even though Trinamool is rejecting the news of its closure, the organization and workers are in a dilemma just before the voting. However, on Bhaskar’s question, party MP Derek O’Brien said – We are the second largest opposition party in the Parliament. Working with 5 agencies. are well. Another party leader said that the TMC organization is working at 4 levels.

Understand this way… Why is IPAC so important for Trinamool?

  • in 2021 elections IPAC made a strategy for Mamta. He gave the work of organization to the firm. Candidate selection, booth level management, speeches, social posts, posters, slogans, everything was being done by IPACK itself.
  • in this election TMC is focusing on data. The booth level data of 2021 Vis and 2024 Lok Sabha elections was analyzed by IPAC itself.
  • Every seat was divided into 3 categories. Strong, weak and low vote margin. Margin seats up to 15 thousand were selected.
  • The team is also tracking SIR. The party believes that removal of a large number of names from the voter list could spoil the calculations, hence shadow agents were brought in.
  • These agents reached the voters whose names were deleted. Made them fill the forms and got re-entry done. Tracking BLOs, finding irregularities in the voter list, giving real time inputs from the field, all these tasks were being done by shadow agents.
  • There is a separate war room on every seat, Where a 20-member team works. Arranges small meetings.

TMC’s petition in High Court

Meanwhile, TMC has expressed apprehension that 800 of its leaders and workers may be arrested by the central security forces as a precautionary measure. Regarding this, the party has filed a petition in the High Court and demanded immediate hearing. The party also fears that central forces may take over police stations in the state.

Voting is to be held on 152 seats under the first phase in the state on April 23. The election campaign will end on 21st.
