The company’s deficit has doubled to Rs 870 crore in the quarter of fourth fourth fourth FY 2025.

South Korean company Hyundai Motors has sold its entire 2.47% stake in Ola Electric. At the same time, Kiya Motors has also sold her 0.6% stake. Both companies have done a block deal of about ₹ 692 crore in total.

According to Reuters, Hyundai sold his 2.47% stake (about 10.88 crore shares) at a price of ₹ 50.70 per share. While Kiya has sold her 0.6% stake (about 2.71 crore shares) at a price of ₹ 50.55 per share.

Kaya is now less than 1% stake in Ola Electric. Both companies invested a total of $ 300 million (Rs 2500 crore) in Ola Electric in 2019.

Ola’s share fell 8% yesterday

Ola Electric shares saw a decline of 8% on Tuesday. The company’s stock fell at Rs 49.60 to close at Rs 49.60. Today, it has closed at Rs 50 with a gain of 1.20%.

Ola deficit doubled

Ola Electric’s stock was seen to fall by 10% on 30 May due to poor results. On May 29, the company released the results of the fourth quarter of FY 2025. The company’s deficit has doubled to Rs 870 crore.

The company suffered a loss of Rs 416 crore in the same quarter of a year ago. The company’s loss has increased more than two times on an annual basis. Talking about the company’s revenue from the operation, it has been Rs 611 crore in the January March quarter. It has a decline of 62%.

In the same quarter of a year ago, the company generated a revenue of Rs 1,598 crore. The amount received from selling goods and services is called revenue or revenue.

Ola reached third in vehicle sales

Apart from this, Ola has reached number three in terms of electric sales. According to the vehicle portal, the company’s market share has reduced to 20% in May. Sales of vehicles have declined by 60% over the last year.

In May of 2025, only 15,221 vehicle registers were registered, compared to 37,388 in May last year. The old player TVS motor is at number one with 25% market share. Bajaj Auto ranks second with 22.6% stake. The market share of Ather Energy declined from 14.9% of April to 13.1% in May.

Ola electric mobility was established in 2017

Ola Electric Mobility in Bangalore was established in 2017. The company mainly manufactures electric vehicles, battery packs, motors and vehicle frames at the Ola Future Factory.
