1. Government will sell onion 18% cheaper than the market, it will be available at ₹ 35/kg in Delhi: There will be supply in 4 cities also, it became costlier by 28% in a month

To control the rising prices of onion in the country, the central government will sell onion at a concessional rate of Rs 35 per kg in Delhi. Currently, onion is being sold here at Rs 55 per kg.
This is about 36% i.e. Rs 20 less than the current average retail price. For this, ‘Kanda Express’ will reach Delhi on Wednesday with the first consignment of 800 tonnes of onion.
