Gold & Silver Prices In India: Gold and silver prices traded lower on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) during the morning session on Monday, tracking weakness in the bullion segment. MCX Gold (August 5 contract) was down 0.80% at Rs 1,45,745 per 10 grams, while MCX Silver (September 4 contract) fell 1.42% to Rs 2,32,737 per kg at around 10:18 am.

The broader MCX iCOMDEX Bullion Index also remained under pressure, declining 0.94% to 34,006.13, indicating weakness across precious metals.

In Mumbai, prices of 24K gold stood at Rs 1,45,260 per 10 grams, while that of 22K dropped to Rs 1,33,150 per 10 grams.

Crude oil prices remained at the level of $70 per barrel amid the easing of tensions. At its peak during the Iran-US war, oil prices crossed $120 per barrel. WTI and Brent crude oil prices stood at $69 and $73 per barrel, respectively.

International spot prices of precious metals also traded lower on Tuesday, mirroring weakness in the broader bullion market. Spot gold fell 0.74% to $4,125.13 per ounce, down $30.56, while spot silver declined 2.02% to $60.65 per ounce, losing $1.25.
