GATE 2026 Registration: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2026) application process begins today, August 28. Candidates can apply online on the official website at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The last date to apply without a late fee is September 28, 2025.

The exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, jointly organised by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and the IITs.

GATE 2026 Eligibility
The GATE 2026 examination is open to students who are currently in the third year or above of any undergraduate programme, as well as those who have already completed a government-recognised degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities.
