The 16th edition of the Men’s Hockey World Cup 2026 will start from August 15th in the Netherlands, with former champions India taking on Wales in the tournament opener. The new edition will feature a fresh format with 16 participating nations divided into four pools of four each. The tournament, co-hosted by the Netherlands and Belgium, will conclude on August 30th when the title clash will be played.
