Ekta Bhyan won Silver in women’s F51 club throw and Praveen Kumar took Bronze in Men’s High Jump T64 at World Para Athletics Championships 2025.

India’s Ekta Bhyan, who has already secured medals at the last two editions of the World Para Athletics Championships, clinched silverware yet again, as she bagged the Silver at the Para Athletics Worlds in the women’s F51 club throw event on Saturday.
Ekta finished second in women’s club throw F51 final with a season best throw of 19.80m at the World Para Athletics Championships 2025 — her 3rd consecutive world medal.
Praveen Kumar Bags Bronze
Paralympic Champion Praveen Kumar clinched the Bronze Medal with a season-best jump of 2.00m in the Men’s High Jump T64 event.
At the end of tonight’s competition, Team India has a total of 18 medals (6 Gold, 6 Silver, 6 Bronze), surpassing the previous edition’s medal tally of 17 medals (6 Gold, 5 Silver, 6 Bronze), making it the best-ever performance in the championship’s history.
Tomorrow, India has 6 medal events more to play for.
