‘Delhi Voted For Development’: Rekha Gupta Takes Aim At Rahul Gandhi, Kejriwal
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal of attempting to disrupt peace in the national capital, alleging that they are acting in coordination with the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP).
In a post on X, Gupta questioned the leaders’ political approach and accused them of allowing their frustration over repeated electoral defeats to affect Delhi residents. She also raised concerns about the impact of political activities on people travelling to work, daily-wage labourers and patients trying to reach hospitals.
Gupta asked whether the leaders’ political ambitions were more important than the livelihoods, safety and peace of millions of families in Delhi.
Rekha Gupta Says Delhi Voted For Development
The chief minister said Delhi had voted for development and referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third consecutive term in office as a reflection of public support.
Leaders rejected by the countrymen, Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal, along with their B-team CJP, want to make Delhi an arena. After all, why are these leaders bent on taking out the anger of their non-stop defeat on the public? What is the fault of the people of Delhi who are troubled by the chaos on the roads? Who will take responsibility for the problems of the employees going to work, the workers who earn their living to support their families and the patients reaching the hospital? Are your political ambitions bigger than the livelihood, security and peace of millions of families in Delhi?
Delhi voted for development. Due to the unprecedented blessings of the public, Shri @narendramodi ji has become the leader to become the Prime Minister for the third consecutive time in the history of electoral politics of India. But the parties suffering from nepotism and opportunism are not able to digest this public support. Arvind Kejriwal, a seeker of anarchy and who has given himself the title of master of Delhi, is trying to disturb the peace and security of Delhiites for political gains.
Be aware that there will be no exemption for taking Delhi hostage.
The politics of spreading anarchy and challenging the mandate under the guise of democracy will be fought boldly.

She alleged that parties driven by dynastic politics and political opportunism were unable to accept the mandate. Gupta also targeted Kejriwal, accusing him of attempting to disturb peace and security in Delhi for political gains.
‘Delhi Will Not Be Held Hostage’
Gupta further criticised what she described as the politics of creating anarchy under the guise of democracy. She said her government would oppose attempts to disrupt peace in the national capital and challenge the people’s mandate.
“Let it be known: Delhi will not be held hostage,” Gupta said, adding that there would be a firm response to attempts to spread unrest in the name of democracy.
CJP Protest Underway In Delhi
A protest by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) is taking place in Delhi on October 10, with demonstrators demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged electoral irregularities.
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and senior leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka have been detained amid police efforts to stop protesters from reaching Jantar Mantar.
