Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and her predecessor, AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal, are among more than 33.1 lakh electors who have been issued notices over discrepancies in their voter details during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls, according to election officials.
The Chief Electoral Officer’s office in Delhi has released the list of electors who have been served notices nearly three weeks after the publication of the draft electoral roll on August 31. The notices cover voters whose details fall under categories such as “No Mapping” and “Logical Discrepancies”.
Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal, his parents and son Pulkit have also received notices as their details could not be mapped with the previous SIR records.
