India’s athletes will be in action across lawn bowls, boxing, 3×3 wheelchair basketball, swimming and artistic gymnastics on Day 3 of CWG 2026.

Indian athletes will be in action across five sports on Saturday (July 25) at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow, with competitions scheduled in lawn bowls, boxing, 3×3 wheelchair basketball, swimming and artistic gymnastics.
India’s campaign for the day will begin in lawn bowls, where Rupa Rani Tirkey and Pinki will take on Paris Baker and Milika Nathan of Tonga in the women’s pairs sectional play at the SEC Centre. The match is scheduled to start at 3:50 PM IST.
At 4:00 PM IST, boxer Sachin will face Keoma Al-Ahmadieh of Canada in the men’s 60kg Round of 32 at the SEC Centre.
The Indian women’s 3×3 wheelchair basketball team, comprising Minakshi, Reena, Laxmi and Ritu, will then begin its Pool B campaign against Wales at 4:35 PM IST.
In swimming, Dhakshan Shashikumar and Aryan Nehra will compete in the men’s 400m freestyle heats at the Tollcross Swimming Centre from 4:19 PM IST. Both swimmers will aim to qualify for the final, scheduled for 11:37 PM IST later in the day.
India’s lawn bowls action will continue in the evening with Putul Sonowal taking on Izzat Shameer Dzulkeple of Malaysia in the men’s singles sectional play at 7:30 PM IST.
Another major event on India’s schedule is the women’s artistic gymnastics team final, where Pranati Nayak, Nishka Agarwal, Protistha Samanta and Eshitaa Rewale will represent the country. The competition, beginning at 8:15 PM IST at The Arena, will serve as both the team medal event and the qualification round for individual events.

Later in the night, Srihari Natraj will compete in the men’s 50m backstroke final, scheduled for 12:19 AM IST (July 26), provided he qualifies from the earlier rounds. India will be hoping for another productive day as its athletes continue their quest for medals at the Commonwealth Games.
