India’s Harjinder Kaur delivered a brilliant performance to claim the women’s 69kg weightlifting silver medal at the Commonwealth Games, setting new Games Records in both the snatch and clean and jerk categories in Glasgow on Tuesday.
Harjinder, who won bronze in the 71kg category at the 2022 Birmingham CWG, produced a career-best performance in the 69kg class to bag India’s seventh weightlifting medal at Glasgow 2026.
