CSIR UGC NET 2025 Final Answer Key: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key for the CSIR-UGC NET June 2025 session on its official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in. The exam was conducted on July 28 at centres across the country.

The final key has been issued after considering the challenges received on the provisional answer key. Notably, one question from the Life Sciences paper has been dropped. Candidates who attempted the dropped question will be awarded full marks.

With the publication of the final answer key, the results are now expected to be declared soon. Candidates will be able to check their scores and qualifying status using their application number, date of birth, and security pin once the results are uploaded on the official portal.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

According to NTA guidelines, the minimum qualifying marks for each part of the paper are as follows:

General/EWS/OBC: 33%

SC/ST/PwD: 25%

It is important to note that no separate cut-off is applied for Parts A, B, and C of the paper.

What Is CSIR NET?

The CSIR NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Eligibility Test) is a national-level examination conducted in India to determine the eligibility of candidates for:

  • Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) – financial support for pursuing research in science and technology.
  • Lectureship/Assistant Professor – eligibility to teach at universities and colleges.

It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of CSIR, usually twice a year (June and December).

  • Physical Sciences
  • Chemical Sciences
  • Mathematical Sciences
  • Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences

Exam Pattern:

  • Objective-type, multiple-choice questions.
