CMAT 2026 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration window for CMAT 2026. The last date to submit the application form has now been pushed to November 24, 2025. Candidates can view the official notice and complete the registration process on the CMAT portal at cmat.nta.nic.in.
In the official announcement, NTA stated, “In continuation to the Public Notice dated 17 October 2025 regarding submission of online application form and in response to multiple requests received from candidates to extend the last date, NTA has decided to extend the last date for submission of online application form for CMAT-2026, enabling aspiring candidates to apply for the exam.” The agency said the extension aims to accommodate students who were unable to apply earlier.
Candidates can pay the final transaction fee until November 24, 2025. The correction window will open on November 26 and close on November 28, 2025.
CMAT 2026: How To Register?
Candidates who have not yet applied can follow the steps below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA CMAT at cmat.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the CMAT 2026 registration link displayed on the homepage.
Step 3: A new page will appear where candidates need to complete the registration process.
Step 4: After registering, log in and fill out the application form with the required details.
Step 5: Pay the application fee through the available online payment options.
Step 6: Submit the application form and download the confirmation page.
Step 7: Keep a printed copy of the submitted form for future use.

The application fee for general male candidates is Rs 2,500. For general female candidates, Gen-EWS, SC, ST, PwD/PwBD, OBC (NCL) and third-gender candidates, the fee is Rs 1,250. The payment must be made online using the available options on the CMAT portal.
CMAT 2026 will be held as a three-hour computer-based test. The exam assesses a candidate’s abilities in quantitative techniques, logical reasoning, language comprehension, general awareness, and innovation and entrepreneurship. The CMAT score will be used for admission to management programmes for the 2026–27 academic year.
