The Supreme Court has taken seriously the allegations of harassment and vandalism in the house of a 14-year-old girl who had participated in the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protest. The Supreme Court has asked Solicitor General Tushar Mehta to take action on the girl’s FIR and ensure her safety. The court has sought a report on this action from Delhi and UP governments. Swatantra Bhardwaj was sent to jail after the girl’s father was attacked during the Jantar-Mantar Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protest.
