After the high-stakes Donald Trump’s Beijing trip, Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to the United States in the autumn.
Trump had earlier invited Xi to visit the US in September.
“Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to the United States in autumn this year at the invitation of US President Donald Trump,” Chinese top diplomat Wang Yi said on Friday as reported by Chinese state news agency Xinhua.
