This problem has arisen due to the Flair website being down.
Services of social media platform X and AI chatbot ChatGPT are down across the country. These services have been down since around 5:15 pm on Tuesday. Users across the world, including India, are unable to access key features including login, signup, posting and viewing, as well as premium services.
Downdetector, the website which gives information about server down, is also closed. This problem has arisen due to the Flair website being down. Apart from this ChatGPT is also down.
What is the reason for x or ChatGPT being down?
Services down due to CloudPlayer being down: Cloudflare is an Internet infrastructure company that provides services to make websites and applications faster, more secure, and more reliable. Due to it being down, these services are down.
In a statement, Cloudflare said it was aware of an issue and was investigating. We are working to understand the full impact of this problem and mitigate it. More updates will be given soon.
43% people had problems viewing the post According to DownDetector, many X users around the world faced issues accessing and refreshing posts on both the web and app versions. About 43% people had problems viewing the post. Whereas 23% people faced problems in using the website and about 24% said that they faced problems in web connection.
87% of people using ChatGPT reported their issues on the website, 9% on the app and 3% on the API…
X’s two outages
- X was down from around 1.15 pm on April 26, 2024. 145 people reported problems using X on Down Detector. Users were facing problems in using it on both web and app.
- X’s service was also down on 21 December 2023. Users around the world, including India, were facing problems accessing X since around 11 am on Thursday. Instead of the post, users were seeing a message which read ‘Welcome to X.’
Elon Musk bought X in 2022
On October 27, 2022, Elon Musk purchased Twitter (now X). This deal was done for 44 billion dollars. As of today, this amount is approximately Rs 3.84 lakh crore.
Musk first fired the company’s four top officials, CEO Parag Aggarwal, Finance Chief Ned Segal, Legal Executive Vijaya Gadde and Sean Edgett.
On June 5, 2023, Linda Yaccarino joined X as CEO. Prior to this, she was Chairman of Global Advertising and Partnerships at NBC Universal.
