CBSE Class 12th Result 2026 Release Date, Time Live Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 results are yet to be announced. Going by patterns from previous years, the results are expected in the third week of May, a timeline also suggested by CBSE Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj. In 2025, CBSE declared the Class 12 results on May 13, recording an overall pass percentage of 88.39%.
After the results are released, students will have multiple convenient options to access their marksheets. Besides the official website, several digital platforms will host the results. Students can visit the official portals cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in and enter their roll number and date of birth to view their scores.
Digital marksheets will also be provided through DigiLocker and the UMANG app, from where they can be downloaded easily. If there are internet connectivity problems, results can be obtained via SMS and IVRS (phone call). Additionally, students can will get scores via SMS. Altogether, students will have six different modes to check their results.
For this year, CBSE conducted the Class 12 examinations from February 17 to April 10, 2026. The board has stated that the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system is functioning without technical problems and that the evaluation process is proceeding smoothly. As a result, the outcomes are expected to be more precise and transparent than before.
