BPSC AEDO Exam 2026: The Bihar Public Service Commission has postponed the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) recruitment exam, which was initially set for January 10th to January 16th, except January 14th. The commission has stated that a new exam date will be announced later on their website, citing unavoidable circumstances for the delay.
A total of 9.7 lakh applications were received for the AEDO exam, which was planned to be conducted in three phases during January 10th to 16th. The admit cards which were slated to be released on January 1 too stands deferred. The hall tickets will be released after the announcement of the new exam date.
There are 935 vacancies available for the AEDO position in Bihar. These include 374 unreserved seats, 93 for economically weaker sections, 150 for SC, 10 for ST, 168 for extremely backward classes, 112 for backward classes, and 28 for women from backward classes.
The recruitment exam will consist solely of a written test with multiple-choice questions. There will be no interview process. The written exam will feature 100 questions worth 100 marks, with a one-third mark penalty for incorrect answers. The duration of the exam will be two hours.
BPSC AEDO Admit Card 2025: How To Download Once Out?
Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the admit card:
Step 1. Visit the official website of Bihar Public Service Commission – bpsconline.bihar.gov.in.
Step 2. Log in to the candidate portal by entering your username and password.
Step 3. After logging in, click on the Dashboard option.
Step 4. Select the link for BPSC AEDO e-Admit Card 2025.
Step 5. Download the admit card and take a clear printout of it for future use.
Candidates should carefully verify all details on the admit card, including name, roll number, exam date, and centre information. If there is any mistake or discrepancy, they should immediately contact the Commission. Entry to the examination centre will not be permitted without an e-admit card. Candidates must carry two copies of a valid photo ID along with the printed admit card. It is advised to arrive at the examination centre at least one hour before the exam begins.
