A shocking incident has come to light from Mainatand block of West Champaran district in Bihar where a BPSC teacher and a teacher from a primary school were caught in an objectionable position by fifth-grade girl students. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when the students were playing outside after their mid-day meal. Upon returning to the classroom, they witnessed the teachers indulged in obscene behaviour. The girls reported the incident to their parents, who were outraged.
On Thursday morning, dozens of parents gathered at the school and demanded action from the headmaster. The headmaster tried to calm the situation but was unsuccessful. He was forced to confine the accused teachers to his room and inform the Block Education Officer (BEO). Upon arriving at the scene, BEO Krishna Kumari initiated an investigation. She questioned the students, who confirmed the allegations. The BEO said that the allegations had been found to be true and that such indiscipline would not be tolerated in the temple of education.
The accused teachers denied the allegations, claiming that they were simply together in the classroom. However, parents alleged that the obscene acts had been ongoing for several months. They also demanded that the teachers’ mobile phones be investigated. The BEO promised to take strict action against the accused teachers.
According to reports, there are a total of six teachers in the school, including the headmaster. Four teachers are regular staff members, while one teacher and one teacher were appointed in 2023 through the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC).
