Bihar recorded a turnout of 47.62% in the second phase of Assembly polls as of 1:00 pm, according to the Election Commission of India. The highest voter turnout was recorded in Kishanganj district with a voter turnout of 51.86%, followed by 50.95% in Gaya, 50.91% in Jamui and 50.07% in Banka. Madhubani continues to record sluggish turnout at 43.39% as of 1:00 pm.
A turnout of 46.87 per cent was recorded in Araria, 47.11% in Arwal, 49.45% in Aurangabad, 45.09% in Bhagalpur, 46.07% in Jahanabad, 49.89% in Kaimur (Bhabua), 48.50% in Katihar, 43.45% in Nawada, 48.91% in Paschim Champaran, 49.63% in Purnia.
Purvi Champaran recorded a voter turnout of 48.01%, 45.19% in Rohtas, 48.23% in Sheohar, 45.28% in Sitamarhi and 48.22% in Supaul.
