Bihar Board: BSEB opens special window for Class 10 and 12 exam 2026 registrations till September 3.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced a special opportunity for students who have not yet registered for the Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) annual examinations scheduled in 2026. The online registration process, which began on Thursday with a late fee, will remain open until 3 September.
According to the board, school principals are responsible for completing the registration of their students on the designated portals — secondary.biharboardonline.com for Class 10 and seniorsecondary.biharboardonline.com for Class 12. Students must ensure their details, including their name, parents’ names, and date of birth, are filled in correctly, as there will be no further chance for correction after submission.
To help students and schools, the board has also provided helpline numbers: 0612-2232074 for Matric and 0612-2230039 for Intermediate queries.

Once the registration forms are submitted, dummy registration cards will be issued to students. These must be signed by the candidate, parents, and the school head, and then uploaded on the portal by 8 September. The board has warned that failure to upload the signed dummy card within the deadline will make students ineligible to apply for the 2026 examinations.
Students must also ensure their registration fees are paid by 1 September. Those unable to pay by then will have an extended window until 3 September, but only with the late fee.
The BSEB has made it clear that no student will be allowed to appear in the 2026 board exams without a valid registration. Hence, schools have been urged to complete the process well in advance to avoid last-minute hurdles.
