Bellariz’s share list at Rs 100 above 11%: Issue price was Rs 90, company makes automotive component

The 1996 Bellaries Industries makes components for two-wheeler, four wheeler, commercial and electric vehicles.

The shares of the automotive component -making company Bellarize Industries were listed at ₹ 100, above 11% on NSE on 28 May. Its issue price was 90 rupees. At the same time, the shares on BSE have been listed at ₹ 98.50 above 9.44%.

Gray Market Premium: Listing at a little less than expectations

Prior to the listing, Bellariz’s shares were trading at a premium of ₹ 20-21 in the gray market. It was indicating a listing gain of 21-23%.

Some analysts had speculated that the stocks could be listed at a price of ₹ 110–116. However, the listing was slightly lower than the market instability.

Advice for investors: Hold for a long time

  • AVP-Research of Hansax Securities, Mahesh Ojha said- Investors who have allocated shares in the IPO should hold a medium to long term.
  • Gaurav Garg of Lemon Markets said- Given the company’s long-term growth potential, it can become an attractive bet for medium to long-term investors.

Financial Performance: FY24 profit of ₹ 323 crore

In the financial year 2024, Bellarize Industries recorded a revenue of ₹ 7,557 crore, while its net profit was ₹ 323 crore.

However, by December 2024, the company’s profit declined by 17.5% to ₹ 245.5 crore in a period of nine months, while the revenue rose 0.9% to ₹ 6,013 crore.

The company is expected to save interest costs after the IPO is low, which can increase its income in future.

Belarize IPO: 41.30 times subscribed

The ₹ 2,150 crore IPO was opened for subscription from 21 May to 23 May 2025. This was a total of 41.30 times subscribed. The IPO was a fresh issue of 23.89 crore shares completely, which included no offer-for-cell (offs). The price of shares was fixed between ₹ 85 to ₹ 90 per share.

The company makes two-wheelers and EV components

The 1996 Bellaries Industries makes components for two-wheeler, four wheeler, commercial and electric vehicles. The company has a 24% stake in the two-wheeler metal components segment in India. In this segment, Bellarize Industries is one of the top three companies in the market.

The company has a log term business with companies such as Bajaj Auto, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, Hero MotoCorp, Jaguar Land Rover and Royal Enfi Motors. Bellariz Industries has 15 menufacturing plants in 8 states of the country.

The company’s automotive product portfolio includes chassis system, exhaust system, body-in-white parts, polymer components, battery containers, suspension and steering columns over 1,000 different products.
