Assam Education Minister updates on Central Teacher Eligibility Test Verification


Assam’s Education Minister, Ranoj Pegu, has announced that Samagra Shiksha Assam has released the list of candidates who have qualified the Central Teaching Eligibility Test (CTET) and are shortlisted for assistant teacher positions.

The next step for these candidates is the verification of their documents, which will take place from October 29 to November 1, 2025, at the State Mission Office, SSA, Kahilipara.

Sharing the update on platform X, Ranoj Pegu stated that the document verification is in compliance with the directives of the Gauhati High Court. The shortlisted candidates will be considered for contractual engagement as assistant teachers in Lower and Upper Primary Schools. Candidates are advised to check the official website for their group, schedule, and detailed instructions: Samagra Shiksha Assam.

The official notice clarifies that the verification process follows court orders regarding previous writ petitions against Advertisement No. SSA/TT/Engagement of AT/328/2020/2609. Candidates are required to attend the verification session on the date and time mentioned on the official list. They must bring original documents along with a set of self-attested photocopies for submission.

No separate communication will be sent to candidates regarding the schedule, so applicants are urged to follow the official website for updates and instructions.
