The company has opened two stores in Bengaluru and Pune this year.
Apple has announced the opening of its fifth retail store in India on December 11 in DLF Mall of India, Noida. This will be the second store in Delhi NCR, the first one opened in Delhi in April 2023. This will be Apple’s third store to open in 2025 after Bengaluru (2 September) and Pune (4 September).
CEO Tim Cook had said that apart from Mumbai-Delhi, four more stores will be opened in India. The latest products like iPhone 17 series, M5-powered MacBook Pro and 14 MacBook Pro will be available in the Noida store. Customers will be able to try new features. Specialists, creatives, geniuses and business teams will provide expert support.
Apple’s growth is increasing rapidly in India
India has continuously emerged as an important market for Apple. According to market tracker IDC, the company can sell 15 crore iPhones in the country in 2025. With this, Apple’s market share can go above 10% for the first time.
Apple became India’s fourth-largest smartphone vendor in the September quarter, where the company reported 25% year-on-year growth with sales of nearly 5 million units.
In several recent analyst calls, Cook has highlighted India as a standout market where the company has achieved record revenues for 15 consecutive quarters.
There will also be ‘Today at Apple’ sessions in the store
‘Today at Apple’ sessions will be organized in the Noida store, which will be completely free. In these sessions, Apple’s creatives will give workshops to customers on topics like digital art, storytelling, productivity and coding. These sessions will be special for those who want to learn better use of their Apple devices or want to do something new and creative.
