AP Inter 1st, 2nd Year Exam 2026 Tentative Schedule Out; To Begin On February 23

The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has released the tentative schedule for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) 2026 for both first-year and second-year students. According to the notification, the exams will begin on February 23, 2026, and continue until March 24, 2026, with all sessions scheduled from 9 AM to noon.

AP Inter 1st-year (Class 11) exams will commence on February 23, 2026, with languages (Telugu, Sanskrit, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Oriya, Kannada, Arabic, French, Persian – Paper I).

While the AP Inter 2nd-year (Class 12) exams will start on February 24, 2026, with Second Language Paper II. Major subjects such as English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, History, Commerce, and Civics will be conducted in phased slots until March 24, 2026.

AP Inter Practical Exams & Other Assessments

Practical exams for General courses will be held from February 1 to 10, 2026, in two sessions: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM, including Sundays. Vocational course practicals will take place from January 27 to February 10, 2026, in the same two-session format.

Ethics & Human Values exam: January 21, 2026 (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM). Environmental Education exam: January 23, 2026 (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM).

Samagra Shiksha Vocational Trade (NSQF Level-4) Theory Exam: February 13, 2026 (10:00 AM-12:00 PM).

BIEAP Secretary Dr. Narayana Bharat Gupta clarified that this is only a tentative schedule. Changes may occur depending on public holidays and festivals such as Holi, Ugadi, and Ramadan in 2026. Any revisions will be updated through official press releases and the BIEAP website.
