Tata Group’s Air India has become the fourth most punctual airline in the world. According to the June 2026 report of aviation analytics firm Cirium, about 86.85% of Air India flights i.e. 87 out of 100 flights arrived exactly on time.
The Tata Group-owned airline operated a total of 15,135 flights in the month of June. Air India has left behind Singapore Airlines and Emirates. According to aviation rules, if a flight takes off within 15 minutes of its scheduled time, then it is considered to be on time.
Saudia stood first and Korean Air stood second
According to Cirium, only three airlines were ahead of Air India in the global ranking. In this, Saudia stood first with 92.38%, Korean Air stood second with 88.56% and Aeromexico stood third with 86.94%.
After Air India (86.85%), the top-10 list includes Singapore Airlines, WestJet, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, SAS and Qatar Airways.
