AIBE 20 Registration Deadline Extended Till October 31, Exam On November 30

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has extended the All India Bar Examination (AIBE 20) registration deadline till October 31. Earlier, the last date to apply was October 28, 2025. The last date for correction of particulars in the application form is November 1. The revised schedule for AIBE XX is available on the official website at allindiabarexamination.com.

However, the exam schedule remains the same. BCI will issue the admit cards for the law exam online starting from November 15, 2025, with the examination scheduled for November 30, 2025. The timing for the AIBE XX exam will be 1 PM to 4 PM. The entry will be started by 11:30 AM.

All India Bar Examination is a mandatory qualifying exam for law graduates wishing to practice law in India. To be eligible, candidates must have completed a three-year or five-year LLB course from a university or college recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The AIBE application fee is Rs 3,500 for General, OBC, and PWD candidates, and Rs 2,500 for SC and ST candidates along with taxes.

Step 2. On the home page, click the link to view the AIBE 20 notification.

Step 3. Upon clicking the link, the official notification will appear on the screen.

Step 4. Download the notification to check exam dates, eligibility, etc.

Step 5. Keep a printout for future reference.

AIBE XX Exam Pattern

The AIBE Exam will be conducted offline in a pen and paper format. It will consist of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs), with each question carrying one mark. Candidates will have three hours to complete the exam.

According to the marking scheme, candidates will earn one mark for each correct answer, with no negative marking. To pass the exam, general category candidates need to score at least 45 per cent while Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates must secure a minimum of 40 per cent marks.
