‘AI-171 Crash Report Found No Mechanical Or Maintenance Issues With Engines’: Air India CEO

AAIB published its preliminary report on Air India-171 crash last week, revealing the cause of the crash on June 12 in Ahmedabad.

Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) preliminary report on Air India-171 crash did not suggest any mechanical or maintenance issues with the aircraft or its engines, CEO of the airline, Campbell Wilson, said on Monday.

“AAIB’s initial report on AI plane crash found no mechanical or maintenance issues with aircraft or engines,” he said, reacting to the initial report, which was published on Saturday.
