Trump made this statement while talking to the media at the Oval Office of the White House.
US President Donald Trump has once again claimed that he postponed a major conflict between India and Pakistan, which could have turned into a nuclear war.
Trump said,
The fighter aircraft of India and Pakistan were dropping each other. Six-seven aircraft were dropped. The situation was so tense that he was probably ready till the use of nuclear weapons. But we solved this matter.
Trump made this statement in the Oval Office of the White House. Trump claimed that he has ended six wars in the last six months.
On May 10, he informed about the ceasefire between India and Pakistan on social media. It was called by Trump as a result of his efforts.
Trump threatens to increase tariff on India
In his statement, Trump further threatened to impose 50% recipes on India and apply extra penalty on importing oil from Russia.
He alleged that India is earning profits by purchasing large quantities of oil from Russia and selling it in the open market, which is promoting Ukraine War. Trump warned, said,
If they fuel the war machine, I will not be happy.
Trump has so far applied 25% penalty on India on importing 25% reciperoot tariff and oil from Russia. Due to this, the total tariff on India has increased to 50%. The reciperook tariff came into effect from August 7, while the penalty will be applicable from August 25.

Air Force Chief said-Pakistan’s 5 jets dropped in operation vermilion
India’s Air Force Chief AP Singh said on August 9 that 5 fighter aircraft of Pakistan were dropped during Operation Sindoor. Apart from this, a surveillance aircraft was killed from a distance of about 300 km. This is still a record of target hitting from surface to air.

Pakistani PM said- 5 Indian fighter aircraft killed
After the Pahalgam terror attack, India destroyed 9 terrorist bases of Pakistan on 7 May. CDS Chauhan said- The issue is not how many aircraft fell, but why fall
The Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) Anil Chauhan mentioned killing the aircraft in a conversation with Bloomberg in May. However, he did not say whose aircraft and how many aircraft fell.
