Police recovered the body of the woman from many places.
In Tumkuru district of Karnataka, a 42-year-old woman’s body pieces were found at 10 different places in the district. The woman’s head was found near Siddhrabetta on Friday.
On August 7, a dog was seen pulling a chopped hand on the road in Lingpura village. Local people informed the police. Another hand was found wrapped in a plastic bag at a short distance.
After this, the police conducted a search operation, in which the police recovered other parts of the woman’s body from many places. It included intestines, abdominal organs, one leg and blood -soaked bags.
These pieces of the body met from many places falling under Koratgere and Kalala police stations.
The woman was missing since August 4 The deceased was identified as Laxmidevamma on the basis of hand -made tattoos and face, who was a resident of Bellavi village in Tumkuru taluk. She was missing since 4 August. Her husband Basavaraju had lodged a complaint that on August 3 she went to Uradigre to meet her daughter but did not return home till night.
Police believe that the murder was done on August 5 and thrown at different places to hide the identity of the body. The purpose of the murder and the accused have not yet been revealed. The police is investigating the case seriously.
