3 senior policemen were killed in a blast on July 18 at Los Angeles County’s Training Center in the US. They were all in arson and explosive team.
According to Sheriff Robert Luna, the authorities were working on two grenades. One grenade exploded, while the other is still missing.
The Los Angeles Sheriff Department and the US Fire Arms Bureau are investigating the case. The explosion site, offices, gym and security vehicles were searched but the second grenade was not found. Ordinary citizens had no access to this area.
The three deceased officers were experienced and were in a special unit of security forces. Not getting missing grenade can also become a major threat.
