After this, two policemen reached her house. During this, an argument broke out between them over something and one of the policemen shot at the woman. In this case, the policeman has been arrested and a murder charge has been filed against him.

The deceased’s lawyer has admitted that Macy was suffering from mental illnesses.

After some time, the woman goes to her kitchen. There she picks up a vessel full of hot water, seeing which the other policeman backs off.

The video shows that after this the policemen point their guns at the woman. Both the deputies ask the woman to put the pot down but the woman does not do so. Meanwhile, the policeman Sean Grayson fires three bullets at the woman.

Policeman charged with first degree murder
After the shooting, the other policeman suggests calling the emergency medical service but Grayson refuses. Grayson says that the woman has been shot in the head and is now dead. After this, policeman Grayson comes out of the house and talks to the law enforcement officer. He tells them that the woman was crazy.

According to court documents, policeman Grayson has been charged with first degree murder. However, the policeman has pleaded not guilty. The court has refused to release Grayson before the trial is over.

Many black women were killed by the police
According to the report, apart from Sonya Massey, there are many black women who have been killed by the police in their homes in recent years. These include Breonna Taylor and Atatiana Jefferson. In a press conference on Monday, Massey’s lawyer appealed to the court for justice. He said that police brutality against black citizens continues in the country.

On the question of mental illness of the deceased woman Sonya Massey, the lawyer said that she had some problem but she could not cause so much harm that she should be killed. The lawyer said that she needed help but she was shot in the face.

Macy’s father Wilburn said in the press conference that initially he did not know that his daughter was killed by a policeman. He thought that a robber had done this act. He came to know from the internet that a policeman was behind this incident.

According to the charge sheet, policeman Grayson is accused of turning on his body camera only after Massey was shot. Whereas the other policeman had turned on his body camera even before reaching the scene.
