Actress Ayesha Singh will soon be seen as the lead actress in the serial ‘Mannat’. Recently, during a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Ayesha shared some interesting things related to her show.

During the conversation, Ayesha remembered late actor Irrfan Khan and said that she always wanted to work with him.

I wanted to work with Irrfan Khan sir

Ayesha says, ‘My wish was to work with Irrfan Khan sir, but unfortunately it remained unfulfilled. On hearing his name, the first thing that comes to mind is his films ‘Maqbool’ and ‘Hindi Medium’. Be it a comedy or a serious role, Irrfan lived every character in his own style. The position achieved by Irrfan Sir, who started with ‘Chandrakanta’, was no less than magic. His acting not only changed the film industry, but also opened doors for many people.

Many Bollywood celebrities started with TV

Ayesha further says, ‘People say that entering the film industry from TV is a challenge. However, I get inspired by the fact that if stars like Irrfan Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Shahrukh Khan and Vidya Balan did it, then I too can travel this journey. His journey has inspired me a lot. If a person like Irfan Sir achieved such a high position by following his path, then it is an inspiration for everyone. When I think of the example he set for others despite so many difficulties, I have tears in my eyes.

I want to make my mark in the world

During the conversation, Ayesha also shared that she wants to make her mark across the world. He said, ‘My list of wishes is long, and it includes many big names not only in India but also globally. Vikrant Massey’s film ’12th Fail’ is a great example, and his direction was also amazing. That film showed me the path to many new and great films. My wish is to make my mark globally.

The show focused on one character, the rest were not ignored

Talking about the upcoming TV show ‘Mannat’, Ayesha says, ‘This show is really very special and unique. The best part about it is that it doesn’t revolve around just one character. There are a lot of different characters in the show, who have their own lives and struggles. Every character has their own importance, and they play an important role in taking the story forward. This show makes every character important. By focusing on any one character the others have not been ignored. This is the story of all the characters, who together inspire the audience.

Love cooking and feeding others

Is Ayesha fond of cooking in real life? On this, Ayesha says smilingly, ‘I started cooking for the first time during the lockdown. Learned from YouTube and faced some difficulties, but I managed. I love cooking and feeding others. Especially on festivals or when the family is together. However, one does not get time for cooking every day. But when someone asks me to make a special dish, I feel very good.
