There will be a ban on firecrackers in Delhi for the entire year in 2025. The Delhi government gave this information on Thursday during the hearing in the Supreme Court on the pollution issue.
The government told the court that there will be a ban on manufacturing, storing, selling and burning of firecrackers. Delhi Environment Department has also issued an order regarding this. The Supreme Court has also directed UP-Haryana to impose such a ban.

Pune airport will be named after Sant Tukaram Maharaj
Maharashtra Assembly on Thursday unanimously demanded to name Pune Airport as Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj International Airport. This airport of Pune is currently known as Lohegaon Airport. The state government has approved this proposal and sent it to the Civil Aviation Ministry.
