America has refused to give information about the bank details and phone number of Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. A source told The Indian Express that India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) had sought this information from the US police, but it was refused citing the law.
This case pertains to the alleged hoisting of Khalistani flag over the district administration complex in Moga, Punjab on 14 August 2020. On the eve of Independence Day, two people broke the security and hoisted the Khalistani flag above the office of the Deputy Commissioner.
During this, the tricolor was also insulted. All this was captured in CCTV. NIA suspects that this was done at the behest of Pannu. After this, on September 5, 2020, NIA filed a case against Pannu under several sections. After this Indian officials contacted American officials.

This entire incident was done by the Indian government. People traveling abroad should boycott Air India from 1st to 19th November. Pannu threatened the pilots that there could be a suspicious bomb on board.
Sikh for Justice banned in 2019
The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India banned SFJ (Sikhs for Justice) as an unlawful organization under UAPA for its activities on 10 July 2019. On 1 July 2020, Pannu was included in the list of individual terrorists by the Government of India.
NIA registered the first case against Pannu in September 2019. He was declared PO on 29 November 2022. In 2023, the NIA seized Pannu’s house and land in Amritsar and Chandigarh. On 3 February 2021, non-bailable warrants were issued against Pannu by the NIA special court.
Around 12 cases against Pannu, makes inflammatory statements on social media
12 cases have been registered against SFJ and Pannu in India. Among these, there are also 3 cases of treason in Punjab. The dossier prepared by the Punjab Police contained information about various separatist posts on social media by SFJ over several years. In these he used to support terrorists.
- Pannu is very active on social media. He releases audio and video messages in Punjabi language. In this he instigates Punjabi youth against India.
- By luring money, Khalistan flag has been installed in government buildings in Punjab and Haryana. Apart from this, during the recent G20 meeting, he has also got Khalistani slogans written on the metro station in Delhi.
