The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the examination centre city intimation slip for the recruitment test of Stenographers in Groups C and D posts. Candidates can download the city intimation slip by visiting the official website at ssc.gov.in. To access the city intimation slip, candidates will have to enter their Username (Registration Number), Password (SSC Registration Password), and captcha code.
According to the schedule, the SSC Stenographer Examination will be held on December 10 and 11, 2024. Through this recruitment exam, the commission aims to fill up a total of 2,006 vacancies across several government departments in India.
Through an official notice, the Commission has informed that the hall tickets for the Stenographers in Groups C and D posts will be released on Thursday, December 5, 2024. “The ‘Admission Certificate’ for the said examination will tentatively be available for download on 05.12.2024. The same can be accessed through the designated login module available on the website https://ssc.gov.in/. in a similar manner,” the official notice reads.
SSC Stenographer City Intimation Slip 2024: Steps To Download
Step 1: Go to the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at — ssc.gov.in
Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the ‘SSC Stenographer City Slip 2024’ link.
Step 3: Enter the login credentials in the given space.
Step 4: Then click on submit.
Step 5: The SSC Stenographer City Intimation Slip 2024 will appear on the screen.
To accommodate all applicants, the exam will be administered in several shifts. The admit card will provide information about the precise location of the exam centre and the precise shift times. Since their admit cards won’t be sent by mail, candidates are encouraged to download them from the official SSC website.
The recruitment procedure consists of two steps. The first stage is a Computer-Based Test (CBT), in which candidates are assessed on their general awareness, reasoning skills, and English language ability using multiple-choice questions. Those who pass the CBE will go to the second step, the Stenography Skill Test. This test assesses a candidate’s ability to transcribe dictated text at a certain speed, which is a necessary skill for stenographer positions.
