Krishnan Kumar Bishnoi, an IPS officer of the 2018 batch, hails from the Dhorimanna block in Barmer district, Rajasthan. A graduate of Delhi University’s prestigious St Stephen’s College, he also received a scholarship to study at the Fletcher School of International Relations in France. He got an AIR 174 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination of 2017.

Bishnoi completed his primary education at Kendriya Vidyalaya and has an impressive professional background. Before joining the Indian Police Service, he served as an expert on China affairs at the Ministry of External Affairs. Additionally, he worked as an advisor to African nations under the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

Family Background

Bishnoi comes from a family with a strong administrative and service-oriented background. His elder brother is an officer in the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS), and his two sisters are employed in the medical and revenue departments. Their father is a farmer, and their mother is a homemaker.
